January 2013 Update

Huge congratulations to Jane Jones of Yering Equestrian Park as Desert Storm now is officially Approved as a Breeding Stallion with the Australian Warmblood Horse Association. He scored an impressive 71.88%. This is the third colt we have sold as a foal as a stallion prospect that has gone on to licence -we are over the moon!

January 2010 Update
We have just received news from Jane Jones in Australia that Storm is happy and settled in his new 5 * home and just loving all the attention! She has kindly sent us some new photos - doesn't he look fabulous! Here is an extract from her email: ..."I think you would agree that he is looking incredibly well. He was such a darling on the day and very cheeky. We were jumping up and down and flinging whips and all sorts to make him prick his ears and rile him up and mostly he just stood there thinking we were idiots!! I was in a total sweat and he was as cool as a cucumber!! There is no doubt about it, he is an extremely quiet, gorgeous soul. I love him."

July 2008
Awarded the prestigious Premium Foal title by the Oldenburg Verband.

Sire: Dr. Doolittle
Dr. Doolittle combines some of the best dressage bloodlines of all time and is by the legendary Donnerhall. With the Thoroughbred stallion Lauries Crusador and the Trakehner stallion Argument, he has two refinement sires on his dam' side that both sired several highly successful Grand Prix horses, some of which competed internationally. The gorgeous black stallion Dr. Doolittle seems to feel obligated to continue this family tradition. His own success curve has taken a steep upward trend and his qualifications for the Bundeschampionat when he was five and six years old were just a matter of form. Dr. Doolittle and Sandra Kötter meanwhile win ribbons up to Intermédiaire I. His good-sized off-spring which have the very good walk of their sire are much in demand – and not just because of their dark coats. Long legs, noble, with that certain esprit and powerful hindquarters – just the way tomorrow's dressage horse should look. And that's the way his off-spring are. His many licensed sons underline the qualities of this highly successful dressage star.

Lauries Crusador xx
Lauries Crusador was named the 2006 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year. It was the first time that a thoroughbred stallion was honoured with this award. The Celle State Stud Stallion Lauries Crusador xx has certainly had a considerable influence on the Hanoverian and Oldenburg breed. There are a total of 1560 registered offspring, 349 mares registered into the Studbook, among them 103 State Premium mares. He sired 39 licensed sons, 13 of them being registered into the Premium stallion register.

Dam Sire: Fürst Heinrich
The dam’s sire Fürst Heinrich was crowned World Dressage Champion as a five year old in 2003. With an above average breeding index of 160 points he is ranked as one of the leading dressage sires in the German Federation’s breeding evaluation.  He was a truly significant sire on the basis of his own performance record and off-spring. He was the winner of the 30 day test in Münster Handorf 2001 with the best scores in both dressage and jumping.

Fürst Heinrich was the undisputed champion in the four year old stallions competing for the Main Premium at the Oldenburg Stallion days in 2002. In 2004 his first young sons appeared at approvals and made a sensational debut never seen before, in Vechta he presented not only the Champion but also the Reserve Champion stallion at the Oldenburg approval. In Münster-Handorf, Fürst Grandioso became the 1st Reserve Champion and Fürst Romadour a Premium stallion. With over 20 licensed sons, he more than proved his exceptional hereditary powers.

The name Rubinstein is synonymous for his outstanding dressage hereditably and with elegant horses with high rideability. This is truly a stallion of the Century. A stallion like Rubinstein, who in 2000 at 14 years old died far too young, was during his lifetime a living legend. With 40 wins at Grand Prix level, a member of the 1996 Olympic team, he truly shined in the sport. He had in his short breeding career produced 66 licensed sons many of whom are influential breeding stallions. Rubinstein also sired 89 State Premium mares, auction stars and Grand Prix winners.
