Jubilant is an exquisite colt with the most stunning head, he is compact and beautifully put together and is going to be a super star in the world of dressage. He is light footed and very athletic - he definitely has the Wow factor!

His sire is the legendary Negro, sire of Charlotte Dujardin's Olympic and World Champion Valegro. His dam is the highly graded Elite mare Bugatti ST, who's pedigree boosts 3 generations of Elite Mares who also have the coveted Sports predicate.
What a dream Grand Prix pedigree with the looks and movement to match!

Sire: Negro Preferent
Negro's sire is the black superman "Olympic Ferro" who is not only an established sire but was, for many years also a fixed member of the Dutch dressage "A" team. Negro's dam comes out of a superb mare line. The international stallion Variant (who produces very powerful use of the hind leg) is followed by Gondelier (keur). The mare line is rich with predicates, Fewrie (keur IBOP AA92), Mewrie (keur, preferent, prestatie, Sport) and Geerie (ster preferent, prestatie) which stands as a guarantee for sporting qualities, type, power and quality.

His achievements:
Negro was the winner of both the stallion competitions in 2000 and 2001, he won the title “Young Star Stallion” (Zwolle 2001). During the 2001 World Championships in Verden Negro was the best 6-year-old KWPN. Negro has successfully completed his small tour period. Of his four starts, he won three times. His first start in the Big Tour, he won convincingly by the score of 72.50% super debut, using his unparalleled talent for piaffe and passage showed.

Career highlights:
2012: Awarded Preferent status by the KWPN
2012: KWPN Dressage Index 150 (92%)
2010: KWPN Dressage Index: 143
2009: Awarded Keur status by the KWPN (please click here for January 2009 article)
2002: Prix st. George debut
2001: Zwolle stallion show champion 6 year old
2000: Zwolle stallion show champion 5 year old
1998: Reserve champion of performance test

His offspring:
Negro is high on the latest dressage index, with 150 (92%) which has satisfied the requirement for him to be awarded the KWPN’s highest honour for a stallion of “preferent”. His children are doing extremely well in the sport. They are internationally in high demand. Negro’s offspring are widely appreciated for the great cooperative nature, inquisitiveness, hard work, and of course the trade balance of Negro No. 1: the great hind leg use, and great potential for change. Negro’s children make a stir everywhere, with champions, approved stallions and daughters talked out in the USA, UK, Scandinavia etc..
Despite his still young age, his children are competing and winning at the highest level, including the most famous son Valegro – who was 2011 European Team Gold Medal Winner.
Also through the powerful and positive influences of his genetics, he is becoming increasingly valued as a maternal sire.

Dam: Bugatti ST. Elite, Prok
Dam Bugatti St is an exceptionally well bred and highly graded mare. She was awarded Keur status at her grading, scoring highly on all three gaits. Following a very successful performance test and completion of the strict KWPN X Rays she has now been granted ELITE status! Her breeding is impeccable, with line breeding to the legendary Donnerhall and a blue chip dam line. Every mare on her damline is graded ELITE and has the Sport dressage predicate too. This exceptional quality of the dam line is truly outstanding. She is also beautiful, kind and gentle with the most amazing hind leg I have ever seen.

Her sire Discovery is a stunning black stallion with three powerful gaits. He completed a very successful performance test scoring 9 for type, 8 for trot and 8 for canter. Discovery has a strong hind leg, a beautiful use of the front leg and is very easy to ride with great rideability. His father Dolany is a son of the legendary stallion Donnerhall, who is also the father of Don Schufro and Don Primero. Dolany came 3rd at the German Bundeschampionat.

Bugatti's dam Vienna was successful in dressage competing to such a high level she was awarded the prestigious Sport predicate by the KWPN. She is also an Elite mare. Her mother and her mother's mother are also all Elite mares and have the Sport dressage predicate. Vienna's sire is the famous Blue Hors Don Schufro by Donnerhall. Don Schufro is an Elite stallion, Danish Champion and Olympic bronze team winner in Hong Kong! Don Schufro continuously produces top results. In 2010 his progeny made the headlines time after time. His daughter UNO Donna Unique became 6-year-old World Champion in Verden and Danish Champion in Odense, a son of Don Schufro became licensing champion in Oldenburg and the 7-year-old dressage champion in Falsterbo 2010 was Dejavu ridden by Patrik Kittel.

Bugatti's maternal grand sire the Preferent stallion Flemmingh, was one the most famous dressage stallions in the KWPN. The Preferent predicate is the highest award the KWPN can give which demonstrates just how outstanding Flemmingh was. He placed third at his performance test in 1990, scoring three 9s, including a 9 for jumping. Flemmingh is the sire of Anky van Grunsven’s now retired Grand Prix horse Krack C, as well as Cathy Morelli’s BeSe, and Imke Schellekens-Bartels’ Melvin, among many other notable dressage horses and numerous ster and keur mares.
