Sire Karolinger ll
Karolinger ll is a beautiful, elegant, broadly framed stallion from the proven clique of Latimer & Hohenstein. He is the younger full brother to Karolinger I, National trakehner Champion 2005. The same cross has also produced the Champion mares Illusion and Perlenglan, winners of the Central Mare Licensing, as well as the Vice-Champion of the 2002 Licensing in Neumünster and Trakehner National Champion 2004.
Karolinger's s sire Latimer has proven to be a true purveyor of the incomparable Trakehner charm. Latimer completed an excellent Stallion Performance Test, and in 2000 won the Trakehner Championship and the Federal Championship in an outstanding manner. He did so with a never-before-awarded result and the "dream mark" of 10 for rideability and type. Latimer also won the Federal Championship for four-year-old stallions at Warendorf. The Grand Prix stallion Saint Cloud, and Elite stallions Caprimond and Sokrates add the utmost possibility for success to a consolidated mother-line. Saint Cloud himself was a rideability Champion with 153 points and was successful up to Grand Prix level. Caprimond, Stallion of the Year in 1998, is also successful at Grand Prix and has been a great "improver" as a dressage horse sire.
The dam sire E.H. Hohenstein is an outstanding black stallion who has an incredible breeding and competition record. He was Premium graded and in 1994 was Reserve Champion at his stallion performance test with a total index of 134.05, winning the dressage section and became rideability champion with 148.29 points. In 1997 Hohenstein presented the champion of the stallion licensing. In 1999 he was proclaimed an Elite Stallion and in 2002 he became stallion of the year and his son, His Highness, became champion of the stallion licensing in Verden and was sold to the US for 515,000 Euros.
Dam Pinakothek
A stunning black mare by premium stallion Donauwalzer. Pinakothek has star quality and great athleticism. She has three excellent paces. She was graded in Germany and achieved superb marks.
Her sire Donauwalzer was awarded a premium in Neumünster at his grading in 1997 and is one of the most impressive sons of Elite stallion Sixtus. This noble stallion is very athletic and shows the most powerful and elastic trot, a wonderful walk and an uphill canter. Donauwalzer is the product of an outstanding line breeding to Ibikus and to Habicht, two of the most successful sires for breeding and competition for the last 50 years. Donauwalzer's sire EH Sixtus was "stallion of the year" in Neumünster. Sixtus was an international show jumper before he was retired at stud and has become one of the world's most popular Trakehner stallions.
Dam sire Kennedy was champion in NMS in 1991 and considered one of the best Trakehner stallions born after World war II. He died very young, but left a number of highly successful dressage horses and especially valuable brood mares. His most famous daughter is the elite mare Insterfee, who produced the champion stallion In Flagranti, the approved In Petto, and the three State and Verband premium mares In Farbe, In Vita and In Zukunft.
