At only 6 weeks old and the youngest foal at the Annual Trakehner Show he won his class and went on to be the Champion Colt Foal. The German judges commented on his outstanding type, conformation and movement and indicated that he should be kept entire as a stallion prospect. Sadly we can’t keep any more colts so he is offered for sale to a very good home.
His breeding is impeccable with no less than 7 Elite and Premiums stallions and mares in his direct pedigree. His sire is the Grand Prix stallion Ivernel who has a massive Dressage index of 145.26 and was the Reserve Champion of his performance test. His dam is by Grand Prix and Elite stallion Hohenstein and she is a prolific producer of champion horses both here and in Germany. Her 2006 colt by Axis is also being raised as a stallion prospect.
Rheinzauber will make 16.2 hands and has been well handled and is absolutely charming. Whilst bred for dressage this colt will also shine in the show ring as he is very correct, is straight moving and is very pretty!

His Sire - Grand Prix Stallion Ivernel
Ivernel was the reserve champion of his stallion performance test with a dressage index of 145.26. Ivernel was the highest priced auction horse at the elite auction in medingen, where the Tasdorf Stud bought the stallion. In 1998, he was the Champion stallion at the approvals of the Danish Warmblood Society and is fully approved in Hanover and Oldenburg. As a four year old he was National Trakehner Riding Horse Champion.
Ivernel won and was placed at FEI level dressage shows and dominantly passes on a very calm and laid back nature as well as excellent movement with a modern knee action. His offspring excel in dressage and out of his first foal crop, the two stallions Pret a Porter (premium) and Schönbrunn were approved. In 2004, his premium son Kasimir was approved and his grand son Le Rouge by Pret a Porter won the Grand Champion title at the German Trakehner Verband approvals. He is also the sire of National Reserve Champion mare Kosima.
His Dam - Rheindayla
His dam is a breathtaking black Trakehner mare by Elite stallion Hohenstein. She has superb type, conformation and movement. She has impeccable dressage breeding with four Elite dressage stallions in her pedigree and comes from a family of State Premium mares. Dali was bred and graded in Germany where she achieved excellent marks (52) and was also successful in dressage classes both in Germany and Holland. She is a very laid back mare and has the sweetest of temperaments which is so important for breeding. She produces outstanding foals, in addition to Zippy, her 2006 foal Larkshill Rheinking won Best Trakehner Yearling and went on to be Reserve Young Stock Champion and is being raised as a stallion prospect.
