Stunning jet black mare by the Champion stallion Special D (Métall / Olympic Ferro).

Zouelle is a real beauty with three powerful, elevated paces. She has a huge walk and a fantastic, active hind leg. This is a seriously impressive mare from a blue chip dam line full of Preferent and Keur mares.

Zouelle had a foal in 2008 and has been under saddle for the last year and is in foal Champion stallion Wynton for a 2011 foal.

Her dam Louelle has been awarded the predicate Preferent on the basis of her outstanding offspring. She has already had one approved son and four Ster daughters! Her Grand dam Wosina was awarded both a Keur and a Preferent predicate as were may of the other mares in her pedigree. Her sire Special D needs no introduction by Metall / Ferro he carries some of the top modern dressage genes. Zouelle is 168cm and has recently passed a 5 stage vetting in the UK.

Special D represents proven combination of Olympic Ferro crossed with G Ramiro Z, which produced his sire Métall. Special D is supported on the dam's side by solid, proven bloodlines with quality movements, such as Zandigo, Farn, Doruto and Uron. Grandam Aafke (keur preferent), produced in combination with Ferro the Grand Prix stallion Joeris, who is approved in France, a Light Tour horse in the USA and the UTV mare Gloriosa, a full sister of Haafke. Special D's dam produced a stallion for the third inspection in the preceding year his inspection. Special D is an honest, reliable stallion. He very willing to work with a good attitude. The walk is spacious, rectangular and active, with a good usage of his body. Special D's trot is very tactful and spacious, with super self-carriage, a lot of elevation and a good collection. His canter is extremely spacious and scopey with excellent self-carriage. He is a very talented as a dressage horse and gives his rider a very good feeling. In his Stallion Performance Test he received the marks: Walk: 8.5, Trot: 8.5, Canter: 8.5, Dressage talent: 8.5. In 2006 at the FEI Future Stallion finals at Zwolle he was placed 3rd with 79.40% and in 2004 at the KWPN Stallion competition at s' Hetogenbosh he was Reserve Champion.

Wynton’s list of credentials is already impressive for a young stallion. At four, he was named
Champion of the KWPN stallion licensing of 2007 and the Champion of the KWPN 70-day performance test. Winner of the Pavo-Cup for 5yr olds in 2008. In 2009 he was Champion of the stallion final at Den Bosch at level M and in 2010 he was also Champion at Den Bosch!

As most of you surely know, the stallion selection criteria for the KWPN are stringent and cover many facets of the young stallions; from x-rays, to performance to semen quality! Wynton surpassed all other Dutch stallions in every category. He was Champion of his 70 days testing in the spring of 2007. The members of the judging panel had this to say about Wynton “Wynton is a well developed, uphill stallion with very good capacity as a riding horse. This stallion has a very good attitude and is very easy to ride. Wynton has a very good technique in his legs, a good posture and a very good balance.
