Salvador is awarded a Foal Premium by the Oldenburg Verband who praised his type, and athleticism. |
August 2009 - Solihull BEF Futurity
Salvador was sensational, he was graded ELITE and was the Reserve Champion. He scored an amazing 19 out of 20 for Athleticism, with exceptional comments about his canter, 9 for his walk and 9 for type and temperament. We are thrilled, we knew this colt was World Class and now we have the results to prove it!
Salvador has World Class dressage breeding combining the genes of Sandro Hit, Weltmeyer and Hohenstein. With bags of stallion presence he is very confident and loves showing off his advanced dressage moves in the field already! His walk is loose with a great over track, his trot is cadenced and rhythmical and he has a wonderfully expressive canter. His action is free, loose and he has an extremely active hind leg. To make approx 16.2, he will be pink papered Oldenburg.

August Update:
Sarkozy has been chosen to represent the Hanoverian's at the 2009 Bundeschampionate in Germany.
A Sarkozy / De Niro foal was the Reserve Filly foal Champion at the recent German Foal Championships. This is Sarkozy's first crop of foals and to have a reserve Champion so soon is amazing - this filly was sensational, built uphill, moving with such cadence and lift - a little ballerina!
With his grace and beauty Sarkozy won over the hearts of the crowd every time he entered the ring during the 2007 Oldenburg stallion approvals. With outstanding impulsion and a maximum degree of freedom in the shoulder – he redefines the meaning of “ground covering”. An athlete for the elite dressage sport: top qualities and a modern conformation.
Sarkozy completed his 30-day stallion performance test in Schlieckau with outstanding results becoming the Reserve Champion scoring 9.01 for his dressage. His huge paces were rewarded with excellent scores: canter 9.13, trot 8.69 and for his walk he received 9.5, which is very impressive. He received a score of 8.88 for both his rideability and his conformation.
In an incredible way Sarkozy combines two of the world’s most famous producers: Sandro Hit and Weltmeyer, both serial-producers of champions. Sandro Hit`s achievements as a sire can only be described as phenomenal comparative to his still rather young age – yet again producing two stunning winners of the national championships and two licensing champions in Verden and Vechta, numerous licensed sons and ten Bundeschampionate.
Weltmeyer can look back on an entire armada of national champions, licensing champions and international top-class horses such as the Olympic horses Weltall/Martin Schaudt and Wie Weltmeyer/Emma Hindle, the surprise of the World Equestrian Games in Aachen: Vincent/Bernadette Pujals, as well as Weltino/Ellen Schulten-Baumer and the bronze medallist of the prestigious Nürnberger Burgpokal, Weltmeyer Junior/Matthias Rath. In the third generation the state owned stallion Bogenschütze adds the valuable Bolero, who produced numerous elite horses such as Olympic and WEG participant Brentina/Debby Mc Donald, world championship participant Barclay/Carl Cuypers and more recently the fascinating national champion Benetton Dream.
Dam - Rheindayla
The dam is a breathtaking black mare by Elite Stallion Hohenstein. She has superb type, conformation and movement. She has impeccable dressage breeding with four Elite dressage stallions in her direct pedigree and comes from 4 generations of State Premium mares. Dali was bred and graded in Germany where she achieved excellent marks and was also successful in dressage classes both in Germany and Holland. She is a very laid back mare and has the sweetest of temperaments which is so important for breeding.
She produces outstanding foals, her 2007 foal Larkshill Rheinzauber was the 2007 National Champion Colt of the TBF show and her 2006 foal Larkshill Rheinking won Best Trakehner Yearling and went on to be the National Reserve Young Stock Champion. Both colts are being raised as stallion prospects.
