Larkshill Highgrove is a stunning black gelding with long legs, lots of presence and that real look at me factor! His movement is outstanding with tremendous power and activity from behind. He is very friendly and easy to handle, good to load and with the farrier - generally a very laid back character.

We believe this young horse has a very successful competition career ahead of him. he has the movement, trainability, conformation and looks, to go all the way. To make approx 16.3 hands.

2nd November 2007
Henry is awarded a Foal Premium by the Oldenburg Verband who praised his uphill movement, conformation and presence and indicated he is a stallion prospect. Well done Henry!

His Highness - that sums him up! During the 2002 Hanoverian licensing he was the undisputed Champion. Very rarely the experts were so agreed about the champion as that year. The classy black stallion impressed by personality, super exterior, correct physique and spectacular gates, long strides in walking, swinging and elastic trot and the height of gallop with long strides, elasticity and wonderful upwards tendency. He was Champion at his stallion performance test in Prussendorf in 2003, receiving a total score of 149.24. His outstanding quality was rewarded with the dressage index of 155.04, the highest score in this class. His Highness also became the Champion Stallion at the Danish licensing in Herning.

More than 16 of His Highness' sons were licensed, including the Champion Stallion Hampton Court, the stallion performance test Reserve Champion Hampton, the premium stallion and 2nd Reserve Champion of the stallion performance test Hendrix, the premium stallion Hochfein and Hoftanz who was sold for 120,000 Euros.  Thanks to his own performance record and the excellent results of his off-spring at broodmare performance tests, stallion performance tests and in competition sport, His Highness ranked on fourth place among Germany's best riding horse sires as the youngest newcomer in the German FN's estimated breeding value statistics with an estimated breeding value of 166 (90 percent reliability).

His Highness´ sire E.H. Hohenstein is an outstanding black stallion who has an incredible breeding and competition record. He became premium at the licensing in Neumünster in 1993. In 1994 he was Reserve Champion at his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf with a total index of 134.05, winning the dressage section and became rideability champion with 148.29 points. In 1997 Hohenstein presented the champion of the stallion licensing. In 1999 he was proclaimed an Elite Stallion . His Highness´dam, State Premium mare Daireen, was several times Champion of her class at breeding shows. Daireen´s sire Donnerhall deserves the title “Sire of the Century” because of his incredible success as both breeding and as a sport stallion.

Schweben scored excellent marks at her grading and her outstanding movement was rewarded with an 8.5 for her walk, 7.5 for trot and 8 for canter. She passed her performance test with ease and was then retired to stud duties. She is by Maestro who competed up to PSG and who's sire Matador is the exemplary model of post-war Trakehner breeding and was the DLG-Champion in Munich. The Grandsire is the well renowned stallion Donauwind, sire of many top level dressage and breeding horses, including Dr Reiner Klimke's Fabian and Olympic Gold Medallist Abdullah.
