Schweben is a graded and performance tested 16.3hh Trakehner mare.

Schweben is a lovely kind natured mare with an easy going attitude. She scored excellent marks at her grading and her outstanding movement was rewarded with an 8.5 for her walk, 7.5 for trot and 8 for canter. She passed her performance test with ease and was then retired to stud duties.

Schweben comes from the valuable mare family O35A3 Schwedenmadel.

We are currently overstocked and so Schweben will be offered for sale upon weaning her foal. Her colt foal by His Highness this year (Larkshill Highgrove) is outstanding as is being retained by the stud as a stallion prospect. Her filly by Caprimond was also excellent with superb Trakehner type. Both foals inherited Schweben's amazing movement. She is a very good mother and easy breeder.

Schweben is by Maestro who was successful at Prix St Georges as well as a breeding stallion. He now stands in France were he is very popular. Matador was approved in 1977 in Neumünster and has been said by the German Trakehner Verband to be "one of the most important stallions of the last 40 years, both in the number of registered descendants and in the quality of his transmission."
